Patient Identifier Administration
The Patient Identifiers Administration screen is used to define the Patient Identifiers that are used by Silhouette. Each patient within Silhouette can have one or more of these identifiers assigned to them.
Access to the Patient Identifier Administration screen is controlled by the corresponding group permissions, namely 'can create units', 'can edit units', and 'can delete units'.

Patient Identifiers table
This table lists the patient identifiers that have been defined.

Create button
Click the Create button to define a new patient identifier. This will launch the Create Patient Identifier screen

Edit button
Click the Edit button to amend details for the currently selected patient identifier.
When you are finished, click on the Save button to save your changes.

Delete button
Click the Delete button to delete the currently selected patient identifier.
You will be asked to confirm your choice.
Note that you will not be able to delete a patient identifier if it is currently linked to a unit.

Export button
Click the Export button export a CSV file of all patient identifiers.

Upload patient identifiers
A CSV file in the same format as the exported CSV file can be uploaded to import patient identifiers into SilhouetteCentral. A file can be uploaded either by clicking the Browse button and locating the file, or by dragging and dropping the file onto the upload field that automatically appears.
